Many were wondering why Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley was still unsigned this late into NBA Free Agency, but it appears the reason has been revealed.

Per The Pat Bev Pod, Beverley's own podcast, the guard is currently weighing his options between a return to the NBA on a veteran's minimum deal or a "historic" contract offer from an overseas club. Per Sportando, Hapoel Tel Aviv is targeting the veteran point guard. Beverley will now have a huge decision to make in the coming weeks.

Where will Bucks guard Patrick Beverley end up?

Say what you will about his antics, which will have him suspended for the first few games of this coming season if he plays in the NBA, but Beverley can still help a team out. Even at 35, he helped the Bucks a ton after coming over at the trade deadline and eventually become so crucial that he was inserted into the starting five. He's still a quality basketball player, despite what some will say.

Beverley's decision will likely come down to the money and role he wants. If he stays in the league, he'll have to accept a minimum deal and serve as a role player. If he heads overseas, he'll not only earn a much larger payday, but his role will also increase mightily, as he could be one of the best players in that entire league. It's all about priorities at this point in his playing career.

Revealing his current options via his own podcast platform could also be a ploy to help Beverley have an NBA team up their offer to him if they feel like he can be a nice veteran addition.

A return to Milwaukee should not be ruled out just yet, as the guard has talked about how he's open to the idea of sticking around. The Bucks do have one roster spot left, and if they can add another tough defender with it, it would be wise. Yet, they aren't giving him more than a minimum offer, so that'll have to go into his current thought process.
