With the Milwaukee Bucks holding just the 47th pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, not many people are expecting them to land an impact player. Yet, this class is loaded with late-round picks that have what it takes to be hidden gems. Among them is Georgetown's Micah Peavy, coming off a great year that has many wondering if he could be a steal wherever he lands.

There's a lot to like about Peavy's fit in Milwaukee

After struggling to find his way during his first four collegiate seasons, Peavy finally found success in his lone year at Georgetown. The guard put up career numbers basically across the board, emerging as a legitimate two-way threat. In 37 minutes per contest, Peavy averaged 17.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.3 steals, doing a little bit of everything.

Peavy's defensive motor is fascinating. Standing at 6-foot-7, he's a big wing who can switch between multiple positions when called upon. His 2.3 steals per game are eye-popping, indicating that he uses his instincts to leap into passing lanes and generate more transition opportunities, something that an aging Milwaukee Bucks team could certainly use to spark some life into the offense at times.

There are more questions about Peavy's offense, particularly his shooting. He buried a blistering 40.1 percent of his shots from deep this past season, but in the four seasons prior, he was at 26.7 percent. Was this past season's red-hot percentage legitimate or a blip? Given just how much the Bucks focus on putting shooting around Giannis Antetokounmpo, it's a crucial question.

Yet, even with the shooting question marks, Peavy can still impact the game offensively in other ways, such as with his sweet passing or ability to get out in transition.

With five years of college experience in tow, Peavy fits right in line with Milwaukee's ongoing trend of working out more savvy prospects. This team could use a polished player capable of helping sooner rather than later, and Peavy could be that. Primarily due to his defense, Micah Peavy could be that for a team that could desperately use another stout, versatile defender.

Despite the shooting question marks, which may be worth overlooking with everything else he brings to the table, Peavy would be a solid pick for the Bucks if he's still on the board at 47. In a class full of interesting, experienced prospects, Micah Peavy stands out.
